2009/10 was an extremely busy year for the Red Dreams Charity:
We have recorded a number of young singers and bands with many being played on Hartlepool Radio, and Im Not Google and Up!Down!Strange! being played on BBC Tees 'BBC Introduces'. We also had a number of bands play live on Radio Hartlepool, and recorded Radio Hartlepool's Xmas Panto at the unit.
We organised PITCH INVASION 2009 - a FREE 2 day Music Festival with 23 bands taking to a professional stage.
Filmed and edited over 30 videos, for Bands, Radio Hartlepool, Footlight Youth Theatre and Festivals
We opened the Red Dreams Unit in September 2009 - this houses:
1 performance room with mirrors (that doubles as a photographic studio with green screen)
1 acoustic / vocal room
1 studio/ recording room with vocal/drum booth that doubles as rehearsal room 2
A well equiped soundbooth
A well equiped media suit for editing music and film
We organised young entertainers to perform at the Hartlepool Firework Display in November, these included Chloe Gibson, Im Not Google and Rayne...we worked with Real Radio on the night and it went to well....
Real Radio asked Red Dreams to proved acts for Sunderlands Xmas Lights (Chloe Gibson and Up!Down!Strange!) and Stockton Xmas Lights (Chloe Gibson)
We are working with a number of young singers and bands offering vocal coaching.
We helped bands get into local festivals including Richmond Live, Middlesbrough Music Live and the Pig Pen 2009
We worked with local entertainment venues, The Studio,The Woodcutter, The New Alma and Changes helping source young local singers and bands offering opportunities to perform to an audience.
